The photonic crystal fiber project passed the acceptance

In 2002, Fiberhome communications began relevant research and development. In 2007, the state approved the research and development of photonic crystal fibers and devices, which was jointly tackled by Fiberhome communications, Beijing University of Posts and telecommunications, Tsinghua University and Tianjin University. Researchers have successfully developed photonic crystal fibers with international advanced level, and have a number of core technology intellectual property rights. Compared with ordinary optical fibers, photonic crystal fibers have smaller bending radius, lower optical energy loss and wider transmission wavelength
